That’s where you come in! We’re looking for a creative and driven Content & Community Specialist to help us tell our story, connect with our audience, and inspire travelers to choose Sembo for their next adventure.
As part of our Brand and Communication Team, you’ll play a key role in shaping and growing Sembo’s brand voice. Working closely with a creative and warm team, you’ll have the opportunity to turn ideas into engaging stories and unforgettable experiences, positioning Sembo as a standout in the travel industry. Your passion for storytelling and ability to create wow-worthy content will inspire travelers and make a real impact.
Who we’re looking for:
You’re a self-starter who takes initiative and feel comfortable managing multiple projects
- Collaboration is your superpower – you thrive in teamwork and bring a positive, proactive mindset to everything you do.
- You know how to create eye-catching video or motion content that shines on any platform.
- Canva is your go-to tool (or similar design tools), and you’re skilled at crafting visually engaging content.
- Social media is your playground – you’re experienced in planning, posting, and sparking conversations with followers while staying ahead of platform trends.
- You’re a creative thinker who can seamlessly adapt our tone of voice across platforms and audiences.
- You’re fluent in both Swedish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
With around three years of experience in a similar role, you bring valuable insights and a proven ability to drive B2C growth with measurable results, showcasing a strong commercial mindset. A background in the travel or lifestyle industry would be a bonus, adding further relevance and depth to your expertise. Even if you don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply. What you’ll be doing:
- Strategic Content planning: Collaborate with our Brand Manager to develop strategic content plans for campaigns that align with our goals and vision.
- Creative content production: Create content that works across platforms – from funny TikTok clips and engaging social media posts to landing pages, press releases, and email communications, all aligned with our Brand Book and visual guidelines.
- Community & Social Media management: Plan, create, and schedule posts for our social media platforms, adapting tone and style for each audience. Build and engage a loyal community by interacting with followers and fostering meaningful connections.
- Copy with Impact: Craft everything from quick, catchy captions to longer, value-driven texts that captivate, engage, and inspire across platforms.
- Video content creation: Bring your ideas to life through video, creating and editing content for social media that captivates and excites.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): Identify opportunities for UGC campaigns, collaborating with creators to develop authentic, shareable content.
- Analytics and Optimization: Use data-driven insights to evaluate the performance of your content, identifying what resonates most and optimizing future efforts for maximum impact.
- Research and industry awareness: Stay up to date on travel trends and competitors, ensuring our content remains fresh, relevant, and inspiring.
Our recruitment process
Your journey starts with a 30-minute digital chat with our People and Culture Partner—an opportunity to introduce yourself and learn more about Sembo.
Next, you’ll meet digitally with our Chief People and Communication Officer to dive deeper into the role and how you’d fit within our team. If you move forward from this step, you’ll be given a creative case to complete, allowing you to showcase your skills and ideas.
Finally, you’ll present your case in person at our office in Helsingborg during a conversation with our Brand Manager. This step is an opportunity for both you and us to explore how well we align and ensure a great match for collaboration and team fit.
